How do you apply stretch film?

Stretch packaging can be used in three different ways: manually, semi-automatically, and automatically.

2.Select the appropriate film:Select a stretch film with the correct thickness and stretch capabilities for the load being packaged. Thicker films are appropriate for heavy loads or sharp-edged items that may puncture the film.

3.Start wrapping: Begin by securing the film to the pallet or a secure location, then drag it across the load. Stretch the film as you wrap it around the load, overlapping each layer by about 50% for maximum strength and stability.

4.Wrapping continues: Maintain stress on the film by moving upward or downward. Wrap the film in numerous layers to guarantee total coverage and secure attachment to the load.

5.Seal the film:  Once the wrapping is finished, tuck the end of the film under a previous layer or use a film cutter or heat sealer to secure it.
